The more he followed this path, the more complex he found the universe. He would befriend these crooks, learn their histories only to find himself forced to slay them or find himself hunted by them. Eventually, he had to block it out. Friends? Allies? Innocent? All of these were words that were blocking him from his full potential and true mission.

Eventually, he would find his friend and free them from the alien parasite only for an enemy of his own creation to force his hand. Shortly after that, he would claim he was retired. His quest was done, but when people came for him, he would best them, but he was done seeking Justice. And then he met a young man who was drawn into a tragedy like his own. Seeing history could repeat itself, he took the boy under his tutelage.

This new chapter would open a complex chapter for him. Despite his desire to retire alone and die alone, he kept getting pulled into larger and larger events and guiding more and more people through this strange realm he had accepted on his journey. But he never forgot nor forgave his greatest failure.
