Would you be willing to buzz your hair. A lot of guys tend to do that. You could probably pull it off.

Still adore the concept of this shot and all of the reasoning behind it~ <3 I envy your strength for being able to put up with that much crap from people, and over such a stupid topic! Everyone should be able to dress in what they're comfortable in, I seriously don't understand how people can be so openly judgemental >____< At any rate, keep wearing what you're wearing and be who you want to be! Full support right here <3<3 (and as always love for the photo itself, so cool~~)

... but you look awesome in guy's style. Actually you're awesome in your female cosplays too but I'm more used to seeing you in the former, and there's nothing wrong with you dressing like that. It's good that you've got a style that suits you and you're comfortable in too, and the way one dresses does have to relate to gender issues... but sigh, relatives... recently I had someone who saw a comment on another person's fb (in which I randomly vented out some frustration) and came to the conclusion that I hated my family then started gossiping about me, so even if it wasn't the person on my flist itself to be safe, I deleted most of my relatives ;; (not that they talk to me much either, beyond the 'what are you doing now'). Everyone thinks I'm perpectually studying for some reason and that it's weird I have not had a relationship when all my cousins had a few by my age ;;
I actually didn't start wearing dresses often until a few years ago, though for me it was more of a style / interest change, in highschool I was in their military and khaki phase (thanks to JAG, to the point I wanted to become a military lawyer so I wore pants and collared shirts most of the time. I also tied up my hair everyday too. People would always comment why I hardly wore skirts and dresses. It was also partly for the convenience and honestly whenever I tried wearing girly clothes it'd be an epic fail. I would buy stuff according to what was loose and looked nice on the rack but maybe did not suit me haha. I only started reading up on coordinates and stuff in mid-uni~ but it's when I became more aware of stuff that suited me did I get more comfortable in other types of clothes.
Though I do dress 'girlier' now, I can't wear anything with a skirt without leggings/tights (even so the first time I tried tights I was kinda awkward, but they somehow grew on me)... I'd still feel exposed otherwise, and I fidget too much while sitting~ Even for shorts, I only wear them at home or if it's mandatory for PE lessons. The 'girly' item that I have yet to get into is heels, the only exception I've made was for ballroom dancing, lol. I'm such a klutz I even trip in slippers, so I only wear sandals or covered shoes ;
Eeps, realized how rambly that was... sorry I tend to do that.

Good for you. You should be proud of who you are. There's a saying my mom likes and I believe it's true. Visionaries are always afflicted with Nay-Sayers. The same can be said for this case. In a society that demands perfection, rebel against the 'norm.' Or something like that. I myself am living with a woman who has a very narrow view on how life should be and doesn't accept the kind of people my mom and I are, thusly refuses to believe a lot of people are like us.

They can be, but I stopped caring what people thought of me when I was 10. Just because one does things that others deem weird, doesn't mean it's unnatural. If we we're all expected to act a certain way depending on our gender, culture, skin colour, etc...life would be very boring. Life evolves, get over it. Silly people are silly.
