I felt like drawing Ignis again then I remembered "Dragon Booster"and thought I'd draw him and Meg in that series style. Sort of. I referenced a few scenes for each picture and it took some experimenting to work on Ignis' design as a racing dragon. Here's what I've come up with though:Β
I while back Rivett (I think) mentioned to Artha as the Dragon Booster that there were other legendary dragons that were in hiding. There also happens to be another known Gold Draconium dragon in existence still, so what's one more for the team gonna hurt? Ignis is another Gold Boned dragon that has awakened. He isn't famous like Beau and didn't choose a rider to be a hero in the usual way, but he did befriend and choose an ordinary girl to join the fight with the Boosters. As a Time Guardian, or the Time Booster officially. When in his legendary form, fins appear on his head, down his back to his tail and the markings of the Black and Gold dragon appear on his hide.Β
Just the gold chin stripe, leg markings, and tail stripe though. The rest are gold lines down his back and through each eye. He also sports the same type of fins as Beau, being gold at the ends. Meg, his human partner, wears a simple black racing suit (with a helmet that looks similar to a motorcycle helmet) with some pieces of armor added on and wears a golden gauntlet with chain designs and a pocket watch piece to be inserted.
That's what I have so far anyway... I might change the dragon to a female (my sona basically) but I'll think about it.

Black and gold actually. And even without seeing a few episodes recently I remember it quite well. Dragon Booster was one of my favorite shows as a kid and apparently it still is.

No one else can so I don't see that as fair. It also makes it seem too easy. She can be a 'Booster' though. But you don't have to call her one, it sounds like a silly title personally. Meg goes by "Guardian" anyway.

and young women riding a black and red dragon that had flames going up it's shoulders and nose that also had two long horns on it's snout and bright gold claws blazed down main street of the dragon city town it's rider held tightly to the saddle thinging she sat on looking back behind them the person couldn't be identified for they wore a hood over their head and half a mask on there face the rider clicked it's tongue at the dragon who looked up at it's rider and chittered and made a hard turn left into a dark ally as three men on dragons ran past,the rider huffed out of breath"at least we lost them"there voice could not be made out if it was male or female

Meanwhile the Penn Racing crew, which had expanded quite a bit last week when Megan Pendragon and her group of friends joined shortly after being revealed as the new Time Booster-or Time Guardian as she called herself-one of the ancient heroes that helped the original Dragon Booster and Beau, were just heading home after another rather well-run race. Kitt Wan having won again with Artha at a close second.
As they were walking back to their tent to pack up, Meg thought she heard some other racers talking about a dragon with an oddly unique description.
"-ck with red markings! And a rider in a cloak! You don't think it's that grey cloaked thief that tried to steal the Horn of Libris do you?"
"Impossible. He hasn't been seen since the theft attempt." The other racer shook his head, "Probably just some teenager pretending to be the Dragon Booster."

out of no were at that moment that pacific rider blazed past them and ONTO THE TRACKS! with three strangers hot on the rider and dragon's tail the mysyrious rider jumped over the gate past the other dragon riders running faster with every turn with the three strangers still following"grrr....they never give up!"the rider growled

"That looked like the Dragon Eye crew!" Parmon Shaun realized.
"And the rider those guys were talking about!" Artha added, "We have to go after them! That guy could be in trouble!"
"No need to tell me twice!" Kitt said, "Come on Wyldfyre!"
The nine riders urged their dragons to follow.

the rider clicked her tongue at their dragon again as they reached a dead-end and the dragon roared stopping and the two of them looked back"that does it!"the rider roared and had it's dragon mag blast her into the air with the other three riders doing the same the rider brought out their weapon witch was a long stickΒ with two round ends that glowed on each end and she started to fighting the three fairy pretty well actually
"GIVE IT TO US!"one of the riders demaned
"NEVER!"the unknown rider shouted shooting a fire ball at them from her staff knocking one rider from his dragon and causing him to hit a wall

"They seem to be handling themself fine." Kitt noticed, "But let's go help anyway!"
She charged Wyldfyre at the Psi-class dragons who turned with their riders and had just a moment's warning before they were knocked over by the magma-class dragon's tail.Β

the unknown rider whislet the their dragon who droped their rider and jumped up and under their rider who landed back in the saddle as the rider hit the two rider with their staff sending them flying as the unknown rider and dragon landed by kitt and her dragon facing the opposite direction"thank you stranger"the unknown rider said

"No problem." Kitt smiled. The other 8 caught up and their dragons screeched to a halt.

theΒ unknown rider had their dragon back up away from them to be standing in front of them the rider's appearance was hidden very well the only thing that could be seen slightly was a black gauntlet with a red cent that looked like flames that had a gold color outlining it shinned slightly, noticing this the rider calmly rested their opposite hand on the gauntlet to hid it

Meg noticed the gauntlet before it was covered but didn't comment. She looked down at her dark grey, almost black dragon, (Ignis or Zelthari...) who looked at her in turrn and rumbled as though understanding her look.
"Who are you?" Artha asked without hostility in his voice.

the rider said nothing as they looked at them all then her dragon who looked up at her who chittered softly the rider nodded and took off their hood and let their long black wild hair loose and reached for the mask with the device that disguised their voice",i>my nam..."...the took it off slowly revealing a girl about artha's age"...I Inanna"

"Inanna? Well Inanna, I'm Artha Penn and this is my crew. That dragon of yours doesn't look like a common racing dragon. Or any dragon I've seen."

"she shouldn't"inanna smiled patting her riding companyon on the side gently who maged her rider up in the air the mage was black with a red glow around it as the dragon placed it's rider on the ground"her name is Flicker" Flicker chittered standing tall revealing a flame make on her head

Beau and Zelthari (I'm going with my sona (Meg isn't my sona) only modified to look like a DB dragon) both recodnized the mark and looked at each other then at Flicker.
"I'm guessing that's what the Dragon Eyes were after?" Meg spoke up.

"no"Inanna shook her head"this was"she revealed a box shaped like an egg"thatΒ bone mak is Β part of Flicker,just like beau's mark is apart of him"

(...She can't know about Beau yet. That's a bit too soon seeing as she never saw his legendary form.)
"A bone mark...No wonder they were after it. If it's like the other marks Word could use this..."

"it's not a bone mark"the other face paled ther self"it's her own mark it can't be removed"

(But he's in his DAY-RACE form. If the bad guys couldn't figure it out I don't think a stranger could. She could have mentioned the Fureox or something.)
"...That's a Bone Mark." Meg stated dryly, "And if it can't be removed why is it not on her?"

"are you talking about the egg shaped thing or the marke on my dragon's head??"she asked confused caus the egg shape thing wasn't a bone mark nore was her dragon's mark

(You...Were kind of confusing when she was talking about that. You talked both about the mark AND the box...So I got lost.)

inanna smiled and flicker stood tall happy her tail swishing slightly she opened it to reveal a dragon egg"i stole it from ward's men"

"From Word? What is he doing with dragon eggs?" Parm frowned.
"He isn't trying to make Black Draconium dragons again is he?" Kitt wondered, "The pod was destroyed so he can't be...but what is he doing then?"

"he's trying to turn hatchlings evil this little one was gonna be the leader but I found out and took it"

"Looks like he is doing what we thought then." Artha frowned, "Glad you stopped it though."

"it's what I do"she informed as she put the egg awayFlicker l;ooked to the other dragons and chittered softly with a smile"looks like Flicker wants to get to know them"she nodded

Beau, Wyldfyre, Cerino, Fracshun, Flare the maga-class (Daren's dragon), Skydweller the sky-class (Angela's), Cushol the Psi-class (Katherine's), and Zel all responded with their own friendly sounds.Β

Flicker smiled happily,inanna smiled at this and placed her hood back onto her head along with the mask"well I need to get out of here before word sends his son after me this time..."she got back onto her dragon"...he's harder to loose than the others"

"Maybe you could come back with us?" Lance offered, "We're under the protection of the Dragon Booster! So no Dragon Eye'll be showing up any time soon!"

"Guess we'll head home then." Artha said, "Then tonight I think the Dragon Booster should go on patrol in case Moordyd's actually going after that egg."
