There was a really old TV show I used to watch called "Dragon Tales" on PBS. I'm almost certain it's what started my love of dragons which grew as I was introduced to more and more dragons that weren't the traditional European style ones that only capture princesses and horde treasure. Recently I found some pictures related to the show, kind of revamps ThisCrispyKat did and thought I'd go back and watch a few episodes again.

Even at this age, though I know if you watch it too closely or try to be too logical it really isn't that good, it's still entertaining and I still love the characters. Maybe Max and Emmy less than before but they're 4 and 6 respectively so I can kind of forgive them for their bratty behavior at times. Even if I think they sound and look a bit too old to be their actual ages.

Anyway, the reason I ever watched the show (aside from that I was a very young little girl and this was the only thing I liked on PBS aside from the Sunday shows like "Red Wall" and sometimes "Anne of Green Gable" and then later on "Cyber Chase", which though Math-related in educational value was very entertaining as well and easy to follow) mainly was for the dragons. I remember when I was still a kid I actually collected a few of the toys. I remember the large plushes that quote from the show if you squeeze their paw. The badges would glow too when they talked, probably for more entertainment for the kid. I used to love playing with them I remember.

So, back from my childhood...*ahem* I thought I'd do a revamp or 'older' versions of the three main dragons: Cassie (the pink), Ord (the blue), Zak and Weezie (two-headed purple and green) because I've never been a fan of their puny wings... So here's a more realistic styled version of the dragon kids (yes...They were KIDS. I'm pretty sure teenagers wouldn't go on play grounds or call their parents 'mommy and daddy'. They were probably a little older than the human characters though) or them as teenagers. Also...This will sound pretty damn nerdy but...I think in the past I actually kind of saw Cassie and Ord as a kind of cute couple when they're older. So...Yeah, I ship them. lol
