I sketched these up at some point (possibly the 'Made' date written down) and last night (see Posted date) decided to color them. It's my Chromatics and Metallics as well as Megara as "Wings of Fire" dragon breeds. This can also be seen as an AU to the "Wings of Fire" books after book 6.

SandWing: Kan-Zi, known as Sandstorm in this universe. No one is clear why he's an odd golden shade rather than sandy yellow but they are positive he is not a hybrid like Sunny. Because of his almost metallic-shiny scales, Sandstorm (nicknamed Kan anyway for no reason) is both popular with ladies and unpopular with males. He's not looking for a mate right now though, but is a total flirt, which is one of the ways he socializes.

IceWing: Xas, my Silver dragon, is an IceWing here known as Frostbite. Upon leaving the suffocatingly strict rankings of the Ice Kingdom, he mellowed out a bit and is probably the most mature of his Winglet. After Kan on occasion that is.

RainWing: This guy isn't in my Chromatic and Metallic ranks, but I thought a RainWing would be a fun addition to the picture, so it's orderly with three on top, three on the bottom. His name is Mango (...for now) and like all RainWings raised in the Rain Forest, he's just as cheerful and mellow as ever. A bit uncaring of major issues though.

SeaWing: Frijord the White's "Wings of Fire" counterpart, known as Jellyfish. He is just as much Cal's minion as ever and not much of a fighter. His parents were incredibly protective and strict of him as well, making him nervous about upsetting his boss or disappointing others. He usually expects punishment for the slightest mess up.

SkyWing: Calixthzan the Red Dragon as a SkyWing. He's known as Inferno but goes by Cal, for his nickname is "Calamity". Just as bad tempered and bossy as other SkyWings, Cal instantly bullied Jellyfish into being his minion. As for everyone else in the Winglet, they all act like they can't stand him but still put up with him.

NightWing: Megara the black dragon's "Wings of Fire" counterpart. Her name is Megara, but calls herself Meg, for reasons unknown. All she knows is her mother thought of the name. Meg was hatched far from the NightWing volcanic island but only her father, Silenthunter, was around to raise her. Her mother, Swiftkiller, having disappeared after the hatching. As shown in the picture, Meg has the ability to read minds and see visions of the future. Since her father never had this ability though, he wasn't able to help her control it. It's mentioned though that Megara's mother could also do these things, by Silenthunter, but she never gave away the reason (which is obviously that both she and her daughter were hatched under two full moons).

So that's the basics of it. Meg's the only one whose backstory I've worked on before but I think there is an explanation for Kan's gold scales. Maybe an Animus touched his egg wanting to bless it rather than curse it. I don't know.
