BACKGROUND
Personality} CiCi doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. In fact, the only reason she scored a two on her temperament scale is because she’s known to paw at the ground and dig up stones when she’s idle. We think it’s because she’s looking for minerals or salt, but she never actually licks them. She’s even dug up gems before. We’re not quite sure what causes her to do this, but we keep every gem she finds in a shadow box on her stall. She has a pretty impressive collection. She is so gentle, in fact, that she can often be viewed as lazy. She doesn’t have a strong competitive desire, making her a great lesson horse, but she does well in competition anyway. While she’s done high-stakes shows she’s much better as a competitive beginner for people just learning. She’s good at what she does which gives her a great advantage in beginner shows, but is calm enough to teach new riders. She does excellent in this kind of environment.
History} As a foal there was a lot of commotion made about her due to her unusual coat coloring, but she never really stood out aside from that. Without her striking markings it’s hard to say if anyone would’ve really paid much attention because she was always quiet, on her own, and very easy to train. She had tests done to make sure she wasn’t sick or lethargic, or even blind or deaf, but everything came back normal and healthy. It’s just who she was. She did eventually become a favorite for new riders because of her easy-going nature and as she got older she began to gain more attention. Eventually she was sold to the Chronicles to further her career and make room for new stock in her home farm. Citrine has a very bright future, but it’s also very tempting to keep her as a lesson horse; you don’t find many as good as her.

Artist Note: I’m alive! My New Year resolution is to do more with my stable. This last year I got married and went on a honeymoon and did more with my jobs and other crafts that I just didn’t have the time to spare anymore, but I want to get back into it. We’ll see how I do.
