Everyone has his/her own interpretation when it comes to fairies. This was supposed to be my card for mothers day, bu due to schoolwork that was piling up, and lack of time I never got in finished in time...Oh well, surprise mom! Even if it's a bit... alot too late >_>
Done in Corel Painter 9 (chalk details got lost due to resizing, wich is ashame, the picture looked much nicer when bigger) Another thing learned, work small in painter -_-... But I'm really happy that I reinstalled it, it's quite slow sometimes, but it's working out.

The contrast is a bit dark but I suppose that is what you get when you use chalk in anyway

Heh, as they say, "better late then never." It's annoyingly cute! I'd want to hug the little critter but then I'd probably be squashed. Poor lil thing.
