Description Homework. One panel out of 4, the panel is a tad wider then an A4 paper. It's hard to work in detail on a textured panel @_@. I still have lots to learn... Worse yet, the scan of this one come out horrible, (while the other one looked better) Almost all of the highlights on the bird dissapeared... and the colors ;___;.

This panel (3/4) is the one that comes before the one I submitted yesterday. Now you can see the plants reaching for the sky. The other panel can be seen here: [link]

I used one whole day per panel. I can't upload a detailed version, so it doesn't look painted in small, I'm afraid you'll have to do with this.

Simply splended! The bird alone holds more colors then people tend to think of, the design of it is still the whole 'children's book' thing that, if I remember right, you were working on. It looks sweet, yet slightly sad... The colors used are stunning, even if we can't see them all, as it makes the person looking at it focus more on the bird then anything else. Placing the firey colors on a dark blue midnight back ground is wonderfully done, but what I like best... You painted this! I could never painted something this wonderful, let alone on a textured background. Wonderfully done, kudos to you, as always, lil' Dragon-san!

But I have to ask... Besides the stars, what else is up in the sky...? I'm rather curious about it, though it does look rather nice.

The bird is looking for the stars, for peace and quiet. In the next panel he flies to the stars, and isn't content, because it's quiet. Then he flies to the moon, where it is even more quiet, too quiet even. Then he thinks of home again, and realises it wasn't smart to fly to the moon. Breakpoint of the story you could say, after this the bird turns back, and will start his journey to get home again.

You can see the next panel in my gallery ^^ there's nothing much more to see, because the bird realises that the 'erfect place' he was looking for doesn't really exist.

Thanks for the long comment btw! I'm glad you like it .
