Moon Alexander, personal work.I think I really pushed myself to the limit this time (of what I can do atm) I hope I will get better with more practice... Sadly, school starts in 3 days ;____;. I had hoped to get more pictures done this vacation, and practice even more, but life has become quite interesting and busy
.Things I wish I could do better:
- More lively coloring and shading with more contrast
- More details and variety in backgrounds
- Even more dynamic works. Switching between my illustratorself and mangaself is starting to become really hard.
- Must learn how to draw prettier profiles
That's about it. Any more comments, critiques, corrections etc are welcome!

I can see that you have been practising on some things, because In my oppinion, you draw better females and males. For example, Alex looks more manly than before. That's what I think 
and the details of his outfit and sword and that kinda stuff look really good.
And wooow's I luv the background ^^ it's so red and shiny like XD coulds and skies make me happy
I can't keep it for myself, but your really my idol. You made me join Da and try to improve on stuff ^^ ... I might be saying this over and over again.. but that's the way it is.

love the feeling of movement created with the wings, cape and crescent, and the deep sunset colors are awesome

This is amazing. My main thought on this piece is that everything fits together really well, to a very pleasing effect. Awesome job!
(I can totally relate with not doing as much art over the summer. Why is it summer time goes by twice as fast and is half as productive? Anyway, I hope you have a good year at school.

For lively colors and contrasts, complementary colors are your best friend. Use it lightly; Ex; in something blue, as you shade to gray add a smidgeon of orange (dark gray-orange) do the deepest part of the shadow. Likewise, put a few dots of a pale white-orange in the brightest area. Though your eye can't really pick it out, it makes a difference in the strength of the light and shadow. It's harder to make it work with blending in CG, but it works wonders with colored pencils at least. Hope that was helpful somewhat.

Love how his cape and pendant are "whooshing" out from his body; it gives a sense of motion as opposed to him just chilling there. :B
... For some reason the flower charm attached to the hilt of his sword really caught my attention. It's pretty. :33
And the background. Because I have a soft spot for the 'above the clouds' scenery. x33

Artcollege. I graduated last year as a bachelor in artcollege (so if I want I can quit college and go work as an illustrator) but I choose to do the masteryear too as an extra :3
