Description
First race I ever created. Finally sculpted this one about a month ago, took one day to sculpt and half of one day to paint. Mostly done because I was really sick and needed something I didnt have to look at to do, and since most of my sculpting is done blind, this fit the bill.I love these guys. This particular Sav's name is Ixlan, the manticore cub on his shoulder blade is called Orak.

this is amazing, on someone else's comment you said that stress makes you go blind for short periods of time? thats horrible, how long has that been going on? and its amazing that you have come so far despite your partial blindness.. pretty sure i would just sit there blind. anyway, back to the sculpture - this is so intricately detailed, my jaw about dropped when i saw it. is this only sculpey or is there a wire base? you've definately got a new watcher : ).

haha, pennies and twist ties? cool idea : ). stress blindness definately sounds like it sucks, but if its only once a month, that wouldn't be bad. that'd suck as a kid though, as you'd have it so much more often and when you're little you wouldn't know how to deal with it.

Many many coats of paint in gradiated colors and a smooth sculptjob.

I've got a rare disability where stress can cause me to go blind for short periods of time, and during those times I sculpt and wear a black band that makes me look like Illidan from Warcraft 3. Seriously, I have the hair and everything

hehe awesome! ykno i went to pick up more sculpy today but my F-ing walmart was out of all but the coloured stuff so i guess ill have to try, i mean to scuplt ^_~ some other day

lol- no problem! and dont be afraid of colored sculpey! This is actually colored sculpey, just remember to prime it with flat spraypaint after you bake it anyway
