some storyboard works from ep 5 animatic of ‘legend of korra’this is one of my favorite episode from book1. it’s been a long time to see my old board work. so embarrassed to see my work... but it brings up old memory~~

Episode 5 was my favorite Book 1 episode too!!! It's the main episode I watch over and over. So, you are the one who did the fantastic expressions for those scenes...especially for Tahno! Thank you very much for the share. This was a great experience!

I've been keeping this saved in my messages for months because I didn't get to watch it the whole way through when you first posted it. I'm so glad that I kept it saved so I could eventually find the time to view it completely. I haven't watched Korra so I don't know the details of the story. This was really great to watch. I only know about traditional storyboarding so I'm really blown away by the use of animation to enrich the boards. My guess is that it better helps in animation production to see the illustrations with the actual camera shots in motion and pacing. I think animatics is something I'm going to look into this year so I'll keep this saved for inspiration. Great job and thanks so much for shairing!

Loved this! Korra's love life, in season 1 especially, was such a huge mess that I'm not sure was thought through very well, but the animation around it was always amazing.

Bolin my little munchkin <3 I hated Korra so much at the start of this show. but i don't mind her too much at the end. I will still never forgive her for making Bolin cry <3
