Such a shame they didn't go through with it. From your schematic it seems to be very different then the F-15: smaller, my guesstimate is around 13 meters in length, delta-canard configuration and dual stabilizers would have given it super-maneuverability with high angle-of-attack maneuvers and high lift at low angles of attack as a consequence which would have allowed it to conserve energy in turns as well as makingΒ tighter turns. They also seem to have given stealth a lot of considerationΒ with reduction of RCS visible in the canted vertical fins and overall shape and they also have given IR stealth a thought with the shielded engine nozzles. This thing would have eaten F-15s for breakfast and launch and would probably have taken a nibble at the F-22 for dinner.

Do you recall if the engine nozzles were more rounded or more squared? in your drawing they almost look vectorable.

I believe they are "half-shell"-style nozzles, like those used on the YF-23 Black Widow II --- they didn't seem to be thrust-vectoring to me.

Cool! Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I whip it up.

Ooh, a very cleanly done schematic of an interesting aircraft design.

Thanks.
It took a lot of trial and error to come up with the system I use now.

Thanks!
I'd provide you with a link to the original concept art that I based this off of, but I can't remember for the life of me where I saw it...
