Love it.
I heard those things were painful if they were too tight.

A propper fitting corset should not hurt. As long as one uses a corset propperly it should be fine!

how I would love to sew an edwardian corset!! unfortunately I'm completely a selflearner in corsetry, and I don't know where to find a pattern T.T for victorian corsets or kind of I managed to create one by myself 'cause they're more intuitive, but edwardians are another thing T.T

There are several edwardian corset patterns out there. Ageless patterns www.agelesspatterns.com has some and in the book corsets and crinolines from Norah Waugh sits one pattern. Or you could go to a museum and ask if you could measure up an antique corset!

oh my god this would be absolutely marvellous but I don't know about any museum here in italy who's got corsets...anyway I took a look at the site you told me and I'm thinking about buying the straight front corset pattern <3

I know! We only have 1 costume museum in holland. Historical patterns are more difficult to work with, but if you do a mock-up and just give it a try you'll see it is easier then it looks!

Beautiful work. Where do you find that type of closure?

Thank you, I found the closure at a normal steel boning shop.

I really love this.

The pattern is lovely, and the flossing asdds such a delicate touch.

It looks reeaaally lovely |3

Was is very difficult to sew it? Or rather is it much more difficult than a Victorian one, because I thought about making a Sans Ventre on my own, but I'm not too sure if that exceeds my craftsmanship... or my patience <<~

It is more difficult to sew a corset like this. The shape and the fit are different from "normal" corsets and you really need a mock-up for corsets like this.
But is it also very rewarding to make a corset like this.
