It was a referal to the fabrics actualy, but the victorians were obsessed with Asia.
But this dress is sold in 2009 I believe, so I do not have it anymore.

I know you referred to the Chinese brocade Such a shame. I could always order myself a Victorian gown with Chinese brocade, frog ties and other Asian elements from you next time, right?
