Thanks ! About 6' tall and 20' long...quite a bit bigger.. lol I'd say the one in the film was a juvenile though. Crichton also wrote it was a different color..patterned more like leopard...and though venomous the novel Dilo was frill-less too.

He was supposed to be quite a bit bigger..the one in the JP film is probably a juvenile.. ;D

And actually Dilophosaurus are supposed to be larger animals anyway... closer the the height of a man and taller. Jurassic Park kinda did there own thing with this creature, shrinking it and giving it the frill and spit

Alot of the creators for Jurassic Park didn't have accurate info for dinosaurs, they started to get better info by the third movie,
