Colored with Koh-I-Noor Woodless Coloured Pencils. (many thanks to ~FiarNova for giving me those)
Today - June 7th, 2012 - is the ten year anniversary of the airing of Disney's Kim Possible's pilot episode, "Crush".
I wanted to show my appreciation for one of my top three favorite shows of all time, so I drew the largest colored pencil drawing I have done to date. There are some little things that may be off, but I am quite proud of how this turned out.

I'm sure you probably know this then, but Stephen Silver the guy who drew Kim Possible also did Danny Phantom and Clerks the cartoon. You can clearly see that he used the same character design in Clerks. It's such a unique look.
Best part about my suit is that the belt lights up. Although you can't really tell in pictures. It'd be nice to get some other outfits though. Like the Shego/Kim fight scene at the dance in the movie.

I didn't know about the Clerks, but I knew he did Danny Phantom, which I've finally begun watching this year, haha. Silver also worked on character concepts for Sony's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which is one of my most favorite films, especially design-wise. In the end, the characters took a different direction for how he drew them, especially Flint, but I can still see his style some, and it fits with the fluid quality of the charaters' animation.
Does it really? That's awesome - even if it's hard to see sometimes! Yes, there are several other costumes Kim took on that you could manage. Have you thought about her season four mission getup (with the purple shirt)? I didn't like that as much as the first one because I liked when she and Ron matched, but it was still neat and simple.

Ron's pose is so very Ron. He's basically my fav character~ The shading is really awesome; looks just like an actual poster!

I referenced Ron from a cosplayer - the link is in the description there. You should go congratulate him on his awesome Ron pose. XD And Ron is my favorite KP character. One of my top ten most fave charries ever, too.

And thanks; I didn't want to use the show style because I felt something so simple on such a big surface wouldn't be the best option. Using my style, I could show how I connected to the show and I could include a lot of detail on the large paper.

Thanks. I drew Kim and Ron, and I wanted to put Rufus in Ron's pocket, but the space was a bit too limited. So I put him up on the text where there was going to be blank space otherwise.

Yeah, it's crazy. The show's only been off the air for five years, so that doesn't seem too long ago. But then when you look at the date of the first episode, it seems like a long, long time.
