My only tips would be... be confident in your lines - you'll make much cleaner curves with fast long swipes of a pen than by drawing them pixel after pixel and make pictures so big that even if there are places that you went a little bit too wobbly, people would need to zoom in way too much to actually see it. Oh, and I think that putting some gradient on your shading layer can help the picture look more interesting.
