I really love how you made this piece! The pose, the flowers around in the dancing movement of them, and the beautiful expression really stands out. It redefines the meaning behind Virgo. The lillies are shaded wonderfully too and Virgo? Absolutely gorgeously!

Thank-you, Tsuki! The flowers were kind of fun to draw, but I didn't know how to draw them, so I tried to remember what the ones in my mum's garden looked like. Glad you think they look nice, *success*! I gave her a calm, cool, and collected expression, or at least that is what I was aiming for.

Thank-you! I was worried I didn't put enough contrast, but that seems to be the way I roll, maybe I should just be satisfied with that.
I think I will do some more, it was fun to do, even though I hadn't intended to make it horoscopal. I like working with themes.

Virgo is one of those signs where the character doesn't really have any defining features, like creepy crawlies, or measuring equipment or something. The qualifications just seem to be that she's really beautiful. I am a Virgo, but that wasn't in my mind when I was creating it. In fact I just had "pin-up style" in my head, and this is what came out. This piece makes me think of a Virgo sign picture, and that's how that came about.

Haha! I don't know about other Canucks, but I use some time before I start work to check this place out. I usually get on here around 7am til 7:30am (I start work at 7:30 at my one job, my other job makes me too tired to go on the computer at all!).
