Maybe not Heaven, but in the afterlife, we might be able to see those things.

What a hard work! I don't have enough imagination to do such a complex illustration like that and finish it without surrendering to lazyness. The upper part of the image is the best one with the leaf the puppet and the chess floor. The best is that you did a surreal image that every detail is clear and obvious even for a black and white picture, that's hard to obtain.

wow this is very wonderful. Its good to see some surrealism-like art, and u have definately done a wonderful job. There is alot to absorb and ponder upon, which is also good to see. Excellent pencil workk too. This definately deserves a fav.

I can just stare at this and watch it surge and move in front of me. I really like what you did with the frame/border on the lower left and bottom right. Did you use various grades of mech. pencil (hb, 2b etc,.)? Very cool man!

Oddly enough... well, I don't believe in hell, but I believe that the worst possible hell would be a universe in which there are no rules, and thus nothing for your mind to base anything on. The laws of physics, perspective, and mathematics would always be randomly changing from one quantum second to the next. That's not really similar to this guy's idea of heaven, but it just reminded me.

Would it be rude of me to provide an alternate view on Dr. Dino?

That's how it is with science/spirituality... there is always 'proof' for, and against each theory... and it always comes down to which one you want to put your faith in the most. When it comes down to it... there are no solid facts... just the word of man... which no matter how convincing can always be just another lie. I wonder if I'll ever find solid proof of God's existance or if it will always come down to that hard decision of just throwing myself at whatever seems most logical by faith. And I'm not the type to do that sort of thing so I will always be searching I guess.

Well, I think this very well mixes "surreal" with other fields of art (I would say Macabre do to the alienistic style of the forms, but that would be poor judgement on my part, it's not evil, just strange.) to create a very stunning effect. What I think you did the best on this piece is allowing one part of the piece to flow and guide your eye sight to another part of the piece, creating unity. The assortment of "objects" melding together to form one solid mass of "stuff" turned out nicely, and of course, your pencil skill is most excellent.

Amazing picture. I love Kent Hovind, aka "Dr. Dino." I haven't been to the museum yet, but I'm hoping to be able to go in the next few years.
