I actually like insectoid aliens, maybe it's cause Starship Troopers is one of my favorite Sci Fi books, as is Ender's Game; Anyway, there is just something about something that is so "alien" while being native to our planet that with just a few subtle changes can make them look so...well done. I'm sorry if I'm just blathering but I'm hoping to see more of this species.
