I quit the series XP If you want to know the rest of the story, Fern has an incurable disease that runs in most females in her bloodline, and one of Rose's sisters has it. Then Raine, the villan, comes to invade their territory, Karras tries to bring Fern and the pups to a safe cove along a secret, yet very perilous trail along a cliff. Raine finds Karras before they can get to safety and Fern and the pups fall off the edge. Karras only manages to save Rose. The rest of the story I never managed to think up XP
