(Beginning to hate my titles )

This picture was based on a dream I had a little while back around me and *Lunar-Epitaph , only I wasn't able to finally put it to paper until now I also felt it would be good to have a written piece to go along with it since I seem to be able to remember nearly every detail of my dreams Hope you like it Eclipse, since you're in it!

The dream was simple, but it had some sort of calm meaning I REALLY love how the picture came out Let me know what you think! This one took a lot of work

The ending day was fairly calm as the sun began to fade over the soft colors of the horizon. Mixing in with the normal hues of the sky were those of oranges and reds and purples, all glowing to the movements of the clouds caught in the gentle breeze. Perched a top a rock that overlooked the high cliff, a young lupine male smiled, his eyes seeming fixed on the scene ahead of him as the wind blew across his fur. His mind was lost, wandering into the oddest of places until his attention was drawn elsewhere, grabbed by the soft voice beside him.

“Blaze? Are you okay?” came the feminine voice as the figure tilted her head.

Blaze shook and quickly turned to her direction, giving a soft laugh as he rubbed the back of his neck, still glancing back towards the glowing sun.

“Yeah, I am Eclipse. Sorry, I just got lost in thought for a moment.”

“Oh? Then what about?” The silvery female lupine smiled as she sat up, taking her focus to him. “I’m only asking because you’ve been dead silent for a few minutes now.”

Blaze sat for a moment and thought to himself, keeping his face towards her as he finished the random thoughts. Even if none of them held any detail, the slightest one always managed to zone him out.

“Eh, nothing in detail. Just anything that’s running across my mind at the moment. Mostly about things that have already happened.”

Eclipse nodded and shifted to a straight sitting position, leaning forward to rest her head on her knees and folding her arms around them, laughing softly to how he acted.

“Okay, well an example might be nice, since it’ll keep this quiet away.”

“I know…I’m…” Blaze stopped with a sigh and gazed back to the setting sun once more, his eyes again remaining on the spectacle. “…when I think, I think about anything. What has happened, what is happening, what may happen, doesn’t really matter. Though, this time I was just going over some dreams I’ve had, about myself, and about Alura. I’ll even admit to you and DarkFire being in some.”

Eclipse chuckled lightly and leaned back, resting her paws on the solid rocks that rested beneath their bodies, sighing pleasantly at the feeling of the wind through her bouncy, maple hair.

“Oh, now those I would like to hear!”

The gray male laughed and shook his head, slowly standing up to stretch out after having sat for a while.

“You would, I know it! Though, they aren’t ever dirty, just…sometimes deep, maybe meaningful, I’m not sure most of the time. One of them was even like this. I guess that’s why I was in such a zoned state, it felt like a dream again.”

He continued to stand and gaze out over the horizon, sighing deeply at the gentle feeling that settled inside of him. Eclipse nodded slightly and got up as well, walking up to his side and rubbing quickly at his shoulder.

“You always seemed too deep for your own good, you goof!” She laughed and shifted that same paw to his head, quickly ruffling his head fur.

Blaze growled and shook his head to remove her paw, laughing as he tried to get away from it.

“YOU…should know that by now! Besides…” He finally stopped after having jumped away, panting softly. “It gets you back for some of the things you’ve done to me! I won’t even mention them because I know you know what I mean! So me keeping some of them secret, will possibly be a good come back…I hope.”

Eclipse giggled and was about to comment, when the sound of movement from behind and the clearing of a throat interrupted her. Both craned their heads to see a tall, muscular black wolf, standing with his arms folded and a smile on his face as he nodded to Eclipse. She instantly waved back with a jump before turning back to the other male.

“Sorry, Blaze. I need to get going now since DarkFire and I have plans tonight.”

She grinned and gave him a quick push in the arm, making him stumble back slightly before he smiled. The female giggled and jumped back from her friend, just incase he would retaliate. She couldn’t help it though, messing with him was ALWAYS fun!

“You sure you don’t need a lift back? It’s getting late after all…” she asked curiously.

Blaze shook his head and shifted his head to the side, glimpsing back as the very top of the glowing orb began to fade.

“No, I’ll be fine. Besides, Alura said she’d try to meet me here later, so I’d better wait for her.”

“Alright then, you take care, Blaze!” She smiled and went on her way with her mate, turning back to shout once more. “See you later, hun!”

“Alright, Eclipse! Later!” He smiled as he waved back, waiting until they both had vanished from site before turning away to face the sun again.

It was all but gone now, leaving only a beautiful trail of colors above its resting place as he returned to sitting, giving out another deep breath. His eyes soon closed and he reclined back, setting his arm behind his head to rest and wait, wondering when Alura would finally show up, eager to see her once more…
