...I need to channel my mom here for a minute.
Wanda, close your robe!
Well, she wouldn't yell it, but after I got to a certain age she got on my case if I wasn't wearing a robe over my pajamas. Or at least a sweatshirt or pullover if I didn't have a robe (usually on vacations).

First of all, I really like Wanda's morning look in the final panel. She just looks so tired and like, "Hnh? Why is 'umbody sayin' mah name?" I really like that first panel too. The high shot is a welcomed relief from the close-ups on the previous page, and it looks good. Also continue to love you depictions of Evan. They are GREAT.
You're right about the hand in Panel 3. It IS wonky, too small, I believe. It's really hard to do a hand like that coming in when you can't really see the rest of the arm. It's like SOMEONE ELSE'S HAND. Really tricky. The inks on the background are also too strong for the panel. It makes the books look like they're coming forward too much. Thinner lines in the background will push it back.
Also, Evan's hand in the final panel is a little strange too. I think if the pointer finger was a little longer then it would be just fine.
A general note on line weight - thickest lines of ALL should be panel borders. Next should be whatever's in the foreground and then you make the line weight thinner the further you go back in the panel. This is not about how DARK the lines should be, but how THICK. All the lines should have the same DARKNESS just thickness should change.
I do enjoy that hand of the Prof's in the last panel there. I also think that his head would look a slight bit less awkward in that panel if we could see his ear. It's a nice page to lead up to the excitement of the next page though. The large bottom panel works really well. Lots of backgrounds are win. Rock.

Heheh I like evan's expression in the second panel, and xavier's all like blah blah blah... Great pages xD The mistakes you mention arn't usually that noticeable, But I know how things are much more glaringly obvious to the artist. ><

Xavier is a dick, huh?
At least he's not a manipulative asshole, like he was in one AU fic I once read. That was scary.

I hardly invited her. Nor did I particularly enjoy the "action" from her. "Slapping" is like ": P" in that it's something I react very negatively to. >.<

He claims to be all "non intrusive" and all that jazz. So either he IS, and he's keeping his brains to himself, or it's all an act, to make people THINK that he is.
It gets a little tricky around the neck, where all those plates over lap, and lining up the horns from one side of his head to the other, so they're no completely out of whack takes a bit of doing, but over all, not really ^_^

Yes. He is a tricky little bastard. XD
Ah, I see. I was curious, because whenever I see his character design from later on in the show, it makes me want to draw it, but, then it seems complicated at the same time for me. x . x

I don't think I hate him. After all, without him, there'd have been no X-men. He's one of those characters that inhabits a weird... grey area in my brain. Because he IS. a TOTAL dick. You know that sight Super Dickery? They could make one of those for Professor X. But on the other hand- sneaky and manipulative characters are part of what makes plot happen. Therefor- I I... appreciate the character, but dislike the guy? Something o.o
She is surprised! She was just walking past, and then got assaulted by yelling and stench! And it's not like she got a full nights sleep last night either.... she may be groggy XD

GOD yes. I feel the SAME way about Hemingway. Uncle Tom's Cabin, too. Culturally signifigant? Yes. Literally important? Very. Enjoyable read? Noooooot so much.
Am I at work without spellcheck? You betcha.

Finally, someone that understands! My parents seem to think that, since I'm an English Major, I should just enjoy reading anything and everything. >_> It's obnoxious, actually.
