I learned a LOT of things during the process of making this guy. Mainly how gravity works Making a sculpture stand on two legs and NOT have the legs break is not an easy feat, let me tell you!

Regardless of how mean gravity may be, here he is at last! The Great Wroggi, one of the wily Bird Wyvern creatures of the Monster Hunter franchise! He has been crafted using a mixture of 50/50 Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey Firm over a wire and aluminium foil armature. After his session in the oven to bake, he was then painted with a grey primer base and acrylic paints over that afterwards. To finish off, he was then brushed over with a coat of matte varnish on the main parts of his body and the base and a glossy coat of varnish on his mouth, eyes, throat, claws and bumpy plates on his back.

The base he is on is an MDF wood base which has been painted and sculpted on the same as the main sculpture was.

The finished sculpture measures around 1ft in length from nose to tail tip, definitely my largest sculpt to date.

This (big) little fella does NOT have a home as of yet and if the offer is right, I am indeed happy enough to consider selling him to a new, caring owner. (UK only though I'm afraid! Would hate the long journey overseas to end up with him in lots of little Wroggi coloured chunks D= ) If you're at all interested in giving this guy a home, or in taking up a commission, please give me a quick PM and we can sort it out further there.
