Yeah, I know, this isn't really the whole "important" cast, but there are just too many people to include.I was just sketching characters from memory one day, and I decided that I'd do a Death Note group pic. I then redid my sketch, looking at the real characters for ref., and this was born. This took waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too long. Group pics are a pain. But at least I'm finally done. X_X
If anyone wants to know why Near is in a plane, well he's always playing with toys and....I HATE HIM!!!! No offense, Near fans. XD Oh, and Sidoh looks crazy, cuzz he's retarded.

Manga or anime? (I haven't read the manga)
I saw it coming since I saw my first episode (which I think was episode 12), and I was rooting for it to happen until it actually happened. Then I was whining for Light. However I wasn't expecting Ryuk(SP) to do that, he seemed so lighthearted every time I saw him.

Manga.... I've only watched like 2 of the anime, but read how the ending is, it's a bit diff. from the manga.
So tragic. X_X Since I read the first page, I wanted Light to win, even though I knew it was too good to happen. I also hated how they killed off L so fast.
Yeah, you can't really tell what Ryuk's thinking. That's what makes him so creepy.

I figured since the anime moved slow, the manga would move slower so I didn't bother with it.
I did to, at the beginning. Then Light's motives changed (though he never said that, however it was obvious by his actions that it was no longer for a better world that he was killing people) and I started to hate him severely. But in the end, he looked almost human again . . . TwT Dang it, it almost made me cry!
One question: Did the manga show Misa committing suicide? Because all it showed in the anime was her standing on a bridge's ledge, which doesn't necessarily mean she killed herself. (People do crazy things while grieving, standing near a ledge with no intentions of dying could easily be one of them.)

Yeah, it really anoyed me that he planned on killing his teamates. He kinda got carried away, and went the wrong direction. The end was pretty pitiful, poor guy, he completely lost it...I need to watch the anime, I hear its much better than the manga.
Actually, I don't think it even showed her or what she thought. It shows this one girl at the end, but I don't think it's her. [link]
Who knows, I think she would have commited suicide, since her life revolved around Light.

What got me was the fact the only thing stopping him from killing his own sister was the fact that everyone would suspect he was Kira! His own sister for crying out loud! And he didn't even care about his dad!
Really? I heard the exact opposite. (Though "slow" for things like anime and manga are not good qualities for me.)
She kind of looks like Misa, and Light was claiming to be god of the new world so the outfit kind of makes since . . . But was that how the artiest normally colored her hair? Usually blonds don't have that effect in their hair.
It's definitely different on how Misa appeared in the last episode. She was wearing a lolita(?) style of clothing.
I can see why she would commit suicide, but it just didn't show her doing it. I honestly think she just went crazy, her eyes didn't appear sane to me.

Yeah, I read somewhere that Death Note was intened to be like half the lenght it is, but it was lenghthened due to its popularity.

Ugh, I hate that. You don't mess with art, and making a story longer is messing with the artist's original intentions.
Yep! Well, at least that's how it seemed to me. He did show a little concern about actually killing his sister when the trouble started, but it wasn't the thing that stopped him from doing it.
I don't think Near does that so much in the anime . . . At least I didn't notice. I'm not really a fan of anyone in the show so I don't think my observation is effected by "rabid fangirl syndrome".
Well, if that's a Kira cult then I think by the light radiating off the woman that it is Misa. Since she was the second Kira. Then again, it's kind of odd to only really shad her hair for nighttime and nothing else on her being.
I don't know . . . I keep missing the episode that Misa appears and like I said, I haven't read the manga.
She was another reason why I hated Light, he used the poor thing. TwT

If only he had someone to keep him in check, Ryuk obviously didn't care if he went insane or not, Misa was too in love to question him, and his family didn't notice. >> Maybe he would've turned out to be a better guy. And maybe I would have actually cried for him in the end instead of almost crying.

Yeah, I bet Ryuk thought it was awesome when Light went insane. Yeah, in the beginning Light was a really good guy, it's because the notebook corrupts the people who use it. At first he felt horrible when he used the notebook. [link] Then he forces himself to use it.
