Vlad Tepes (pronounces Thepesh!!) Dracul. i really like this pen!I don't know what those birds are. I suppose they're crows, but really the symbol of Wallachia (in medieval Romania) is an eagle. oh well...crows seem to suit him better.

Um,sorry to say this,but your description isn't quite exact.He loved his country and he wanted Wallachia to be safe and free,so that's why he hated the Ottoman Empire(you know,the Turk's wanted to conquer Wallachia...Never managed though. XD ).And impaling was a method to frighten your enemies used before in a lot of countries.The reason people know only about Vlad is that he really really scared all his enemies and they told the whole world what happened(and exagerated a little too.)
