Oooh, I'm so glad that I've finished this...
I've starded this drawing in winter and never really found the motivation to work on it since the last weekend.
This is my first bis pastel drawing - the ones I did before were never bigger than 20x29cm / 8x11" and this one is 36x48cm / 14x19"!
I've learned so much while drawing this, pastels are kind of tricky to work with but I think I understand them better now.
I used soft pastel chalks vom Reeves and Faber Castell and pastel pencils.
I guess I've spent around 20 hours drawing the tiger and some more time with the background.

When I'm done with all my final exams I am going to try to push myself a little further with realism, I'm not sure if I'll try it with pastels or water colours, both seems to be worth the challenge. :'D
