i remember like 19 years ago every time my father comes from work he'd go to mom in the kitchen as she's preparing lunch. he'd stand behind her just like that and i'd be at the kitchen door looking at them. exactly like that painting. heh

my god, i love this picture so much, it tickles in my stomac..
unique and something most people can identify them selves with, or long for.
not the longing for beauty,but the small, but meaningful things love gives.

great painting. illumination is amazing, how it's light outside, and darker in the kitchen, and the shines on the coffe jar (not sure how is it called). but most of all, people is excellent here, pose and everything looks so natural.

I like this painting very much. I think it's my favorite of the series so far. The way the light frames the interaction between the figures really focuses your attention on their relationship. It's a beautiful scene even with the rusty stove and icky old garbage can.

Uh god, the memories this picture evokes. They are bad ones, but that is simply my personal reaction to the picture. On a non personal level, I think you've captured...
Bah, you know what I'm going to say anyway don't you. So I won't add to the pointless banter. Good job. Remarkable sensitivity to the... whats the word. I want to say ambiance, and I want to say "emotions between the couple". But then again, I think its just my bad memories getting in the way. Perhaps I'm not in the correct position to truely critique this work. Perhaps thats how its supposed to be too. To be without the proper words, very good.

Wow it seems you really know how to handle a brush and some oil colors. I can sense some warm feelings while looking at this nice piece of art, but still see some poverty, and rusty atmosphere. These two characters are quite detailed but everything that surrounds them are quite blurry, that really makes the piece look deep and powerful. Keep up the good work!
