The Mario game on the left is from Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo. In that game there are four yoshis, green, red, blue, and yellow. The last three starts out as a baby and you must have it eat enemies (Or a star) To make it grow up! The one on the right is one of the latest Mario game where the yoshi (Which looks like baby yoshi from that snes game) doesn't grow up at all.

Ah, well in the new Mario games that Yoshi on the right. All it does it either blow bubbles, blow a balloon bubble to lift you up, and be a balloon to lift you up!

I miss the style and gameplay of old Mario games. The new ones don't appeal to much all that much.
Actually I lied, the last new Mario game I played was Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga on GBA, but I guess that doesn't count since it's not a main Mario series game.

I guess it all depends on where the Yoshi hails from (for example, the Yoshis in Isle Delfino act differently than they do on Yoshi's Island). ย Depending on where they are, their traits change, even how they hatch.
