Yeah, scale wasn't a big deal back then. It probably still isn't.
Plus, of the original TripleChangers, Blitzwing was the only one really fitting into the Decepticon mold, being aggressive and such.
Then the Autobots get their TripleChangers and one of them is a frikkin' aircraft carrier :/

yeah the original was also called blitz wing thier share a common colour scheme but the robot modes are a little different like the face, tail etc

lol i think DS's spikes would be about the size of his whole body. i did get the idea from soul calibur 3 from a wepon called hell's design basicly its just very spiky shoes

This is the best redesighn of Blitzwing I've ever seen. I'd love a toy version or somthing to that effect. Have you figured out how he would transform? A lot of redesighns and original characters I've seen don't have transformations that would actually work, and are just parts of vehicles stuck to random parts of a robot mode in which ever way looks the coolest. Is there method to this Blitzwings transformations?

yeah i do put alot of thoght into transforming basicly the legs and tail form the turret (cant turn tho) and his upper body the front of the jet with the arts and the back pack parts forming wings/tracks. i might have posted a step by step on another site but its pritty long i think it was tfans.com but the tread has long gone i think

You know what though... After seeing it, I see you kept the classic feel of the origial Blitz, and looking at the head, it'd be cool if the faceplate could slide up like a bike helmet to reveal Blitzie's face underneath.

Still, great job!!!! I likke the fact that even though I don't know how the tranformation goes, you still took the time to figure it out and looking at the joints you can see how and where certain parts and areas move to transform. Unlike the anime, where some parts magically dissapear or re-apear, like wheels and what not...

I had doubts about the overall design of the con, but after seeing it in colours... It looks marvelous! Your best work ever, IMO.. Definitely a fav!

ive been thinking that maybe depth charge could look got as a stelth bomber seeing as a manta ray looks pritty close in shape but apart from that ive not given them any thoght

That's jes tight...I like how the visor turned out. And the colors look awesome. I usually dun really care for the color purple, but you made it look freakin cool here.
