*EDIT #2 ZOMG I LOVE YOU PEOPLE WHO COMMENTED!! Even the ones that told me to get a life ~ I really couldn't care less what you think. Anyways, mwah, keeps the comments comming lovelies! <3*EDIT What makes this funny to the people who actually know me and the ppl in it, is the fact that Valarius keeps his real life expression through this... Ahaha... No as dramatic as he actually is though... Ahaha... Damn I love that kid. (In a friendship kinda way)
I remembered a day at school when my friend Replica/Valarius went on a rant with this guy named Nick *spelled diff in comic* about videogames. It got to the point where Replica/Valarius, being a XBox 360 fan and Nick, a PS3 fan... and after reading ether the comic or this description... you can see where this is going.
The only difference between the two debates was that I was on Nick's side and didn't yell "WII!!" 'Cause holy crap, I friggen hate Wii's. That was in the origional debate though, we all agreed that they sucked.

I hate the wii because one, I'm not a little kid, and the vast majority of games are directed at children. Second, the graphic output is somewhere around 450 (rather than 720 like the PS3 or 630 like the xBox... if I'm not mistaken); the graphics can't keep up. Also, the wii cannot compete quality wise with the Move and the Kinect, they have better and more interactive games, but are less child-oriented.
The only... ONLY good thing about them is their low failure rate (overheating/crashing).
I work in video games for a living... I have my ways of knowledge.

1. "Little kid?" I admit that lots of Wii games are for children, but most Nintendo games, such as the Mario series, are for all ages.
2. Graphics aren't the only things that matter in a game, you know. Not saying they don't matter at all, but they're not THAT important.
3. Can't argue about the Kinect and Move being more accurate than Wii, and the fact that they are less child-oriented.

My first video game console, the Gameboy Pocket had a monochrome screen with pixels; it's you young kids today that are at a serious lack of knowledge when it comes to games and I grew up with a Super Nintendo/N64. Seriously, you just blew that in your own face.

ALSO; it's for kids and those who want to work out. That's STILL it's only purpose. I've been working in the video game industry for 4 years, I know my shit. The PS3 and Xbox have games for ALL ages, the Wii really doesn't have a lot and Nintendo makes less of the more "adult" games for the Wii, severely limiting the audience. I sell WAY more 360s and PS3s than I do Wiis.
I feel so bad for you kids now adays. You didn't grow up learning what a great video game is.

Just... wow.
I do know what a good game is. Are you seriously that ignorant? I feel I should mention that most Wii games I admit are pretty terrible, which in turn makes me admit it is not that good of a system in general. It's the Wii games that are actually good that I enjoy, and I mostly play Gamecube games on it anyway.

Know what I think? I think someone's mad because they can't afford one (not trying to be a bitch at this point. Just saying, it's a common arguement made by those who can't afford one. I understand more than many how tight money can be***). You CLEARLY havn't looked into the features. I have all the systems of this generation (DS,Wii,360,PSP,PS3) and some from past generations (Atari, Nintendo, SNES, N64, PS, PS2, Gameboys *several different ones*) and I'm here to tell ya, the PS3 and the 360 are, respectivly, the best (in my oppinion).
PS3
(1) Different accounts; Helps prevent little children/idiots from earasing your stuff because you can password protect it.
(2) Online is better than the PS2.
(3) Blueray/DIVX player
(4) You can get PSN network with some "limited to" serises like XAM'd, which kicks some serious ASS. It has movies, TV and stuff, often commercial free. PSN: Playstation Network.
(5) you can listen to music on it.
(6) You can download movies, games, songs, extras for games all without leaving the comfort of your chair, if you whanna be lazy.
(7) Chat feature that allows you to have your own character to walk around with/dress.
(8) World news with additional features.
(9) SUPERIOR GRAPHICS AND SOUND. Hook that shit up to a surround sound. Made my skin tingle the first time I did it.
(10) Written chat and webcam feature. Also mic/bluetooth compatable.
(11) Stores and sends pictures.
I'd write ya some more, but I'm on my way to bed.
Please, use your brain before you say "the PS3 is the PS2 with bettER (learn to spell too, please, and be careful with the caps, eh?) grapics." I work at WalMart, I also LOOK at things before I speak AND test them (that's why my manager asked me to work there. I didn't apply). I supose it may seem SIMILAR to a PS2 if you don't have it hooked up to the internet (jeeze, what a waist not to). I had my PS3 about 2 years before I figured out all this stuff.
Did I mention that they CAN'T update the PS2? Yeah, internally immpossible and would hurt sales. (Go take these two systems appart. Fun times.

First off, if I work at WalMart (which I do, to refresh your memory), like I said I did... wouldn't I know that PS2 is STILL making games, especially since I work in electronics (I also serve as assistant manager in that dept.)? The store manager recruited me because I always know more about games than the other people who work there. I've happilly worked at WalMart for almost two years.
And I said "UPDATE" the PS2. Updating and making new games are two God damn different things! Might I hi-light the usage of a brain again? Please, take a hint.
Also, please, by all means, attempt to convince me that the PS2 is better or stop wasting my time. You're just making yourself look unintellegent. Or is it that you're not able to give me some type of evidence.

Haha, no, it's just that you don't know when to use capitals or use grammar better than I was capable of in grade three. Style? I quite beg to differ my young friend. Well, For One, There Are More Games For It At The Moment. Another Thing Is That, Most Of The People I Know (And Some Random People Here On DA) Say That The PS3 They Have Always Turns Off When They're Playing, Or It Scratchs The Disk. Most Of Them Have A PS2 Already, And They Perfer It Over PS3 ANYDAY.

I ave one of the old PS3s and I've not had one issue with it and I leave it ON 24/7. I've mever heard of this issue and I WORK IN THE VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY and deal with idiots all day long. Never has there been one issue with a PS3 in the year and a half I've been there. Also, it functions as a
Blu-Ray player. It will not scratch disks. If it over heats it will, but they normally don't over heat.
You give me some usernames of people who's had their PS3 turn off on them or some emails.

I try to not be a fanboy, but I'm mainly a PS3 man. I like the 360 too, although I don't have one yet.
As for the Wii, it's fun at times, but I honestly think it doesn't have enough good games compared to the other two.
