To truly capture a shot of the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension, both cosplayer and photography cannot be afraid of the dark. When the night falls and the lights burn, it is only fitting to practice dark magic. It is not easy to balance capturing ambient lighting, the glow of the props, and ensure the cosplayer is well lit. Timing, trust, and controlling one’s breathing often go where kit and Photoshop cannot.
