Because I was late for her birthday. x_xWraith for because she deserves it and as I said earlier, I missed her birthday.
I hope she likes it as I spent a LOT of time/effort on it.Now to finish everything else. x_X;

My eyes opened quite a good deal when I saw this stunning number!
Blizzy... this is ABSELOUTLY fantastic and outstandingly brilliant!! 
I feel spoilt rotten! Seriously! Never mind doing me a birthday gift in the first place
I just really love the feel of this and the igenious composition of this. Everything about this reaches down quite a bit. Just really seems to contrive a whole new level to me. I've never had a split scene, or concept art done for me. And what a pleasant surprise this is! It's such a breath of fresh air and I couldn't stop staring at this when I followed your link! Heck, I still can't stop staring at this!!
There almost seems to be a follow on emotion from the bigger portait of Wraith, compared to the smaller one in the bottom right hand corner.
How you did the bigger portrait- of him gazing upwards has been exectued amazingly. Dgeeze, I mean for real! Just how you have done that expression. To me it can portray quite a few different emotions. Either way it's deep- and somewhat myserious. The way he is gazing upwards towards the skies to me makes it look as if he's a little lost... perhaps in deep thought. Maybe he's asking himself who is and what his true role in life really is? OMG, but he looks almost looks sad to me and it makes me feel sympathetic (yes, even for my own character XD). There really is such a sense of him looking and feeling 'astrayed' when I look at the eyes. You really have done those well! The aqua icey green and the reflections in them are actually quite beautiful! The way you did musel as well is just- wow- just brilliant. I find that angle quite hard to work on in hedgehog's faces. That doubtful, sullen look as well compliments all of this.
... I better had say now, I could be wrong in what you tried to get across. On the other hand he could be staring at the sky bravely and in a determined fashion. Again, the picture just lends itself to many intrigueging interpretations. I really love how this grabs my sympathy though- big time. Makes me go 'Awww... my Wraith!' XD yeah yeah, lame but true! ^^
The chest fur ruffled upwards is also good stuff, and the quill style is correcto mondo

And now I have to mention your colouring and lineart... really it's so gorgeous and enticing! The techniques applied here just make this pic so alive. The sketcherily lineart, and how the run on lines have been elaborated really just bring out the emotion here. The way it is sharpened on the smaller Wraith there, to me, makes it look like a stiller form and this is all suitable as the one in the corner looks to be in more of a still state- a frozen emotion? XD Pun with him being an icey hedgehog and all. Don't mind me. Am weird.
And wowees! The painterly quality there just add to this sentient motion. The faded complexion works super dooper for the larger version. And it fits well with the entancing, snowy bg @_@!! This is all so pleasant and calming to the eyes- and again, intrigueging yet again. This is why I cannot stop staring!
And now I must talk about the smaller version. I think I said earlier that this looks like a run on of emotion? Well, it looks as if he looked up, had a heavy session of thinking (hopefully non-angsty thoughts- though that'd be flase hope XD)... but now he looks, either more lost here, or meditative. Still see a sense of reflective thinking here. Dang it! What is on his mind? *dies*
And just wow, how you made the colours stand out here, the sharper lineart- serious kudos to you. Most captivating and deep to me here is the pose. Just how he is hanging his head kind of low, with that one hand out and his head tilted ever so slightly to one side. I must say it is just drawing sympathy more than anything else from me. In a fantastic way!
The scrawling 'Wraith' finalizes this touch really well! For sure!
As soon as I move into my new accommodation, I want to print this out and put it on my wall- is that okay with you? It really is something I want to keep around rather than having to refer to a computer screen all the time. This picture is just way too beautiful for it!
I dunno how to empathesize my grattitude ;~;!! I've been totally spoilt... this is SO devine. For sure! One of the best gift arts ever.! Thank you SO much for doing such a wonderful, WONDERFUL piece for me. Bifday gift? Well either way I am totally in debt!!!

But yes - you hit the nail on the head for the expressions I was going for... a little bit of them all, actually. =o Kinda supposed to be emotionally distraught, you know? Don't ask me why, I was just... trying something new. xD I'm glad that you enjoyed this, as I said before, it was something new that I decided to try. ^^ I experimented with a lot of different things with this one.
And wow - print it? You really want to? Well, geez. Of course you can! :3 I made it for you, didn't I? ^^ If you want me to send you a higher-quality version, too, go ahead and ask. :3 Just note that it'd be one HUUUGE file as it'd be either .BMP or .WPB (which you can only open in Open Canvas) and yeah. <3
