Well, since there seems to be a huge pixel ID theme going on in dA, I decided to try my hand at that, too. I dug up an older OC picture and made a pixel version of it with Photoshop's pencil tool. It came out quite nicely, if you ask me.
I had to resize the pics some to show the work better, hence the blurriness.
The lady here is an RP character of mine, an ex-monk (or should I say "nun"?
) warrior seeking redemption.(For those who don't know, the one on the left was made in OpenCanvas and the one on the right is the pixel version)

But yeah, she seems bigger, and not just on the bewbage level. She looks like she'd spent more time in the gym since the original pic.

It doesn't seem to be tough. It's kinda like doing normal colouring job, except the results are cruder in looks.

It all really depends .... the pixelated version has a more 3-d-ish quality to it that the non-Pixel rendition noticably lacks.

Well, it does look on par with the characters from Street Fighter Alpha and KOF '98. And I've been a fan of the two franchises for a while, so I know their work.
Be glad I didn't draw a comparison to the original Street Fighter...
