Rumpelstiltskin, Belle, & Regina/The Evil Queen (c) ABC/D!sneyMeh, I hate how this turned out, but that's 'cause I ended up going for the "half-assed" approach.
I've been very busy with a full-time job lately, sooo word to the wise: if you want a life, don't enter the medical field. 
Anywhos, this is inspired by the heart-wrenching cliff scene in Dark Shadows (the ORIGINAL, not the movie -- hence the cheesy/over the top dialogue
). I'm dying for a scene like this on the show, 'cause cutesy crap can't entertain me for long. GIMME SOME DISSENT AND DRAMA, DAMMIT! Sooo, yeah...the last panel is the most half-assed, so no, that's not a tornado coming out of Rumpel. LOL It's actually his boot squashing that slug/commoner, although it's hard to tell. 
And in case it wasn't clear, the "floaty" dialogue is from Regina. Who else would be bitchy and bored enough? There will be one more page, and I plan on being less half-assed with it since that's when shit gets real.

LOL!!! I didn't feel like drawing the man, but the left shot of Rumps is supposed to be him conjuring magic...so Belle saw the transformation, but it was just laziness on my part that it's not included.

I like the drama behind this idea. I do wonder how Bell will react to certain truths that will arise to the surface. I would LOVE it if Belle was just a tad bit jaded at the beginning of season two... like her getting tortured by her father REALLY happened... so she's kind of lost faith in goodness (argo, she doesn't give a f*** that Rump is messing sh** up... at first), but she'll get her Bell back on and either help Rump see the light... or leave him. Poor poor STUPID Rumple...

That was kind of the confusing part of Skin Deep for me (Belle's relationship with her father). Like, I wasn't sure if Moe thought she was dead because Regina tricked him, too, or if he assumed Gold knew that she was locked away somewhere. I admittedly only watched that scene once, so my memory's mediocre at best. If Belle doesn't find out everything, that will be poor writing since realistically, it WOULD rise to the surface at some point since he's being all, "LOOK AT MAH POWERZ! I'M AWESOME!" again. lol Jaded!Belle could be interesting, but somehow I don't see them going for that. The way things look now, they're probably going to have Rumbelle be an on again/off again couple, which is honestly one of my least favorite kinds of relationships. Gets old pretty fast. :/

Oh how I hate on and off again too. I don't see the relationship lasting forever. Self sacrifice will happen, or Belle will make her OWN happy ending... while Rump earns himself a f***buddy who is almost as angsty as he is. *looks over at Emma* Wonder who it SHOULD be. *neon signs pointing to Miss Swan* Gosh, golly wally I wonder who...

Before they announced Belle was going to be a regular, I thought she might die in one of the first few episodes for S2. Buuut, now that that obviously can't happen, I'm not quite sure. I would hope Belle would make her own happy ending, because as is, I don't think Rumple deserves her. They don't really have enough in common for it to last -- Belle's never had a child, so I don't see her really understanding why she has to play second fiddle to Baelfire.
