An entry for ~Blak-Phoenix 's wallpaper contest here: [link] . I used my original 'Come To Bed Eye' deviation and gave her whisker extensions in Photoshop

I took the photograph of the kitty against a dark background, cropped so it was only half the kitties face then took the image in to Adobe Illustrator and gave the kitty some 'whisker extensions' using the pen tool

great, I was just wodering how you were able to get such amazing detail on the fur without cotting out to much hair, but using pen tool to cut it out must have taken quite some time, i'm amazed

I love the feel of danger from this cat. Reminds me of my own; I named her after the Hindu goddess of eternal energy who is known for her penchant for chaos and destruction, and by god, my cat lives up to the name.

Beautiful - I've saved as one of my favorite wallpapers!
I did a pixel drawing, changed eye color - tried to send it to your link but wouldn't go through. Just joined deviant after 40 plus years away from art. I'll be posting a horse (actually a tribute to my childhood retired circus pony) using same idea you have here, but with mane exending across screen instead of whiskers - but I don't even have an art program yet - so again just pixel that comes with Windows.
