First finished Hetalia pic ever!
I think my stress is getting into me, as I realize my last pictures have been kinda emotional...
Hope to come up with something funnier next time

Reasons:
Well, due to the current bad state of afairs Portugal economy is, the PM announced a couple of weeks ago some holidays would have to be cut off, 2 religious, and 2 civil.
Though it's not pleasant I wouldn't make a fuss about that BUT it saddens me which ones they have taken considering the civil ones, I'm talking about the 1st of December, the Independence Restoration. It's basically like cutting off the 4th of July in the U.S.
More than just a holiday, I think it's a matter of cultural identity, especially during hard times like these when we should look into ourselves and find at least something of worth that we can be proud of, that small light at the end of the tunnel. All we can do now is work hard and have faith, but let us not forget the blood, sweat and tears of those who made this small but sturdy nation.

Hang in there Portugal-tan, for everything you once were, and might be again.
