Description An injured Ireland proudly tells a slightly concerned Argentina how taking on a dare from his brothers got him into his current state. Must have been quite a wild ride.

Another pairing I've become rather fond of lately, though I like to regard this one as more of a platonic than a romantic ship. I kinda blame my Ireland for that, he's a stubborn ass when it comes to pairing him with anyone and so far, I can't seem to pair him romantically with anyone in the modern period. He gets along with a lot of nations but romance is not something my Ireland is interested in pursuing. Still, I think he'd have a really good friendship with Argentina and share the hobby of teasing England with her. (just imagine all the pranks England would have to suffer at their hands)

There is some history behind these two of course, Argentina is the country with the fifth highest population of Irish expatriates in the world and there was a significant amount of Irish immigration to her lands at one point. (and I also found some information about an Irish settlement in Argentina, there's very little information about it as it was so tiny and ultimately failed but it's still an interesting tidbit for me) Another interesting note is that it was an Irishman (William Brown) who founded the Argentine Navy and is considered today as a national hero in Argentina. Those are some facts I managed to dig up, in general I would say that past and present relations between Argentina and Ireland have been friendly, so I can see them getting along very well. ^^

Reminds me of this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BniyC3…
Argentina and Ireland have another thing in common, they both want part of their country back from Britain. Hopefully one day Ireland will be united and Argentina will reclaim the Malvinas.

I can totally imagine the situation though
"Oh Godness Ireland who did this to you???? ARE YOU OKAY"
"Don't worry I won a bet!! "
"I'm going to find whoever made you do whatever risky shit you had to do and they'll end up 10 times worse than you"
jeez Ireland is an old man but he's a child at heart isn't he

I agree with your take on their relationship <3 they can be great accomplices in pranks and overall very cheerful friends! ahh I love this picture

Thank you so much, I'm really happy that you like the picture so much!! owo Aaaahaha yes, I can definitely see that kind of conversation taking place between Ireland and Argentina!
Argentina sounds so fiercely protective in the dialogue and I love that about her!. I doubt the person who gave Ireland the bet would want to reveal who they are to her, you can probably guess though who most likely would give Ireland crazy dares. But I totally agree, Ireland is that type of character who is the eldest one in the family but is pretty reckless! I really love how you put it, he's very much a child at heart! Honestly Wales (despite almost being the middle brother of the family) is the one who acts the most like the responsible big brother of the family.

They'd make an awesome duo of pranksters, England has to be on high alert when these two get together!
omg omg I love the picture so much!! ;w; Ireland has sparkles around him, aaaaaaaah!! He has the goofiest and greatest expression ever, he looks so damn proud of himself while Tina is scolding him for being so reckless. It's perfect, absolutely perfect! <3 Thank you so much for the picture, it made me laugh a lot when I first saw it. It's so adorable!!

Thank you so much, I'm happy that you see the friendship potential too!!
Aaah I would say the dare had something to do with bridling and riding an each uisge, which is an extremely violent kind of water horse... pretty stupid that Ireland accepted the dare but he's always up for crazy challenges.

First they are so cute together.
Second, do I even want to know about the dare?…

Thank you so much! ^^ There's seems to be a charm of some kind to them, I like seeing them together.
Eeeeeh... yeah I'm not sure if we're meant to get the full details of the dare. Something to do with trying to bridle and ride an each uisge (an extremely violent kind of water horse), that would explain the injuries.

They look cute together. It's kind of funny I did a quick project on Argentina in Spanish and I though of her and Ireland togther half the time.
And yikes. That doesn't sound sound pleasant yet it sounds like something the Celtic nations would dare each other to do.

I kind of want to know the dare.....whatever it may be....

Let's just say trying to bridle and ride an each uisge (a violent kind of water horse) may not be the safest dare to accept. It's actually extremely foolish but Ireland is not one to turn down crazy challenges.
