I said I was working on a happy picture and here it is. Hope you like it Pearl
I'm getting better at making digital art. I had actually had the sketch of this done months ago but never got a chance to actually color and upload it. I'm so happy that Phantom came out looking so cute. The gryphon in his arms I couldn't help but add, just because since he's on the Island of Emmotions and there's a lot of friends there for him to play with. And of course since Phantom is always so happy and bright this scene had to be all happy and bright. Normally I don't do 'happy' but I'm proud of how this came out.
Also, I included some fairies.
Three guesses which one is Lulu.
I played around with the effects a bit but overall, this was done rather quickly. Again, this is another picture for Pearl84's story on FF.net called 'Dawning of a Sun'. Really great story.

AWWW! So, so, SO cute!
I really like the bright background. It reflects Danny’s mood so well! But, hey, that’s how it should be, right? I mean, he is in the Forest of Emotions! And the place reflects a ghost’s mood! Heh-heh!
The Butterfly-fairies really give it that magical touch!
As for Danny! Oh, you should be proud! He came out SO adorable! Makes me want to pick him up and pinch his little cheeks! Ha-ha! But it really makes me smile to see him so happy! I know the drama and the hardships and the angst are very important to a story emotionally. But I personally like the ‘happy scenes’ just as much. I like being able to take a step back and sigh happily at the beauty of it all! And you captured that ‘sigh in happiness’ moment perfectly!
Although Danny doesn’t really wear clothing in the story, the vest looks good on him in this drawing. And I like how just a little bit of his symbol is peeking out! Technically, it should be more in the center, but it really does work for the picture. And I really like how it’s peeking out like that! Heh-heh! I also like how you drew his ghostly tail! It just adds to the whole cuteness! Gosh, I really just want to reach into the screen and grab him! LOL!
And then the gryphon…. What can I say? That just seals the deal! I mean, if Danny holding that gryphon is not the definition of ‘cute’ than nothing is! Actually, I am just as tempted to reach into the screen and take that little gryphon from Danny! I wonder if my mom would let me keep it! *cracks up* Sorry, it’s late and this drawing has made me giddy beyond belief!
I absolutely adore this drawing! And kudos on the digital art drawing! It really came out great! Again, the usage of color is wonderful! And so is the picture itself! Gosh, you are just amazing! And thank you SO much for this! It really makes my heart flutter!
Now, excuse me while I pretend this picture is real and hug it for the next hour or so!

I wasn't sure whether to make the fairies as just orbs of lights around Danny or actually draw them. To be honest, my first attempt eneded up looking like Tinkerbell wannabe's, but then I just randomly watched a bit of Fantasia on Youtube and TADA!!! I had an idea on how oto make the fairies, plus a bit of googling on butterly wings and there you go. Butterfly fairies. The sunlight was a bit last minute and I'm glad I put it in there. It really tied the whole thing together.
And yes, the fairy on his shoulder is Lu (I made her purple because it's my favorite color).
The gyphon took forever! to get right because the wings and beak kept on coming out all funny looking, after a few tries I finally got them right. After I was done I felt like hugging the paper because it was just so darn cute! <3
Anyways, Danny I drew him with a vest on because I thought this would be a scene in the future when he's seven or eight and he has to get used to clothes sooner or later right? I also thought that he would lok adorable in one. Ironically, I did this picture during one of my depressed days. Funny how that worked out huh?
Again I'm so glad you like this so much, but hey, with a story as great as yours you definetely deserve some good artwork.
