Same scene, different angle/moment: Sunshine on a Snowy Day

Funny how things go sometimes. The second time José finds himself up North and again it is not because of private participation in an event. At least not as a competitor.
Some might have already guessed the, somewhat eccentric and over-ambitious owner of the CdL, might have found the perfect partner in crime for future events in his Olympic Co-Host, and they would not be disappointed.

José was bringing in a heap of experience coming from the event organisation background which was met with Will's experience in equestrian events and competitions. One wouldn't even need to mention their ancestry to see they could make things work together. But there was still room to learn for both. José, although full of pride, had no qualms to admit that he could use quite a bit of experience in what the other had pretty much ingrained at this point.

So when the offer came to join Will at the Winter Blues Obertaurer Grading class he was more than delighted to join. He could keep up with breed standards and comparing them to the living beings presented in front of him but until now he only had a handful of breeds in front of him to train this skill. Obertaurer were completely new but he had a strong desire to change that, given there were now some of them on his homegrounds.

He made sure to thoroughly study everything and get Will's confirmation before joining his side for the class itself. Diligently notes were taken down, details added, and more. What fascinated him the most though was seeing the bond between those horses with their human companions. It was something he only knew from the workers of his home who spent quite a lot of time with their equines, and even those could still be quite different from what was presented here.

In a little break between entrants he glanced over to Will, a questioning look on his features. He by now knew of his trouble with the cold which worried him to an extent. Canada sure didn't sound like the fitting place for him.

Offering him a pair of heating pads he had in his coatpockets, just in case if he really needed them, they soon continued with the class. Their next visitor was truly stunning, not only according to the visuals but by Will's reaction alone. There was quite a bit of explaining happening since the displayed coat was something still considered very rare. A true gem to behold. Especially due the snowfall at the moment one could clearly see the origin of such a marking. And the little one also presented a mighty fine character to accompany such a stunning coat.

Truly a moment he would remember for quite a while...

Who would have guessed to see them in such a setting after the warm imagery of the Olympics? José doesn't really mind the cold much so the location of the awesome Winter Blues was nothing that could scare him off. With Veni recently bringing home his first placing José decided to take Will's offer and join him for the Obertaurer Grading class. Definitely a very fun and helpful experience on his way.

Little did he know though that his return on the CdL would be eagerly awaited, for quite unexpected reasons..
