Because I figured, if I'm going to ruin something, why not do it in my style? Lol j/k. *Shot*Yes, I know, it looks NOTHING like him, but oh well! I tried to at least make him resemble Hohenheim a little. See? [link] I think I've been watching way too much shoujo anime lately...
This is supposed to be 27 year old "the youngest ever" Brigadier General Alphonse Elric, AKA "The Boundless Alchemist" - lulz. This is supposedly ten years after the end of Brotherhood. Al follows in his brother's footsteps and joins the military with the goal of making it better than it was and aid in restoring and defending the country, and steadily rises in rank.
"Why is he glaring like that? Al doesn't do that!" How do you know? How do you know what the heck he's looking at right now?
Random Bad Guy: "Do it, General, or you know what'll happen to that pretty little fiance of yours..."
Al: *Glare* If you so much as breathe funny on her, so help me God, I will kick your ass! *Slaps hands together* prepare to meet your maker.
"Al doesn't curse!" Shaddap already!
"Omg who is the bad guy talking about?"
I figured he'd be a bit like his pops and adopt a beard. I gave him a scar and beard (and narrowed eyes?) to further show age and that he's a hardened soldier... or alchemist... or whatever
Okay now, everyone say it with me, CHEEZY!!
Look! He's even wearing a shirt!
Okay, now that I got that outta my system, I gotta draw Ed and Roy next! Err, not together though, that could be bad lol. No idea how though...

Whoa, I don't know why you don't think so but this loos exactly how I would picture an older hardened Alphonse, the beard's a good effect, without it he looks much younger

I gave him a beard because I imagined he'd be a bit like his dad, since he seemed to be a little closer to him? I dunno, or it could just be that I love my men with a bit of scruff on their faces?

The beard fits, I myself would probably have made it a bit smaller, not going all the way to his ears like Hohenheim's but it doesn't really matter, still looks cool. Scruff is a great way to show some age and maturity so I'm with you on that one, remember, mustang got a moustache lol

Well, if not an OC, then I'd have to guess Mei. She is in their "family photo" at the end of Brotherhood, after all... That's just my guess lol.
