I think this picture is very good. I think the light half on the left and the dark half on the right compliment each other very well. When I see the eyes of this warrior, I think he might be possessed or conjured up by some elemental or demon to do his/her bidding. I like the designs this artist put on the armor, especially the swirls, which I often draw traditionally with myself, but more abstractly and without colors. I also really liked the 3D effects he put in the background with all those shard-like patterns of red, orange, and yellow. It looks very futuristic like the warrior traveled through time. All in all the painting is very well executed and it and the artist deserve a lot of respect and gratitude.

My first thought on seeing "Fire warrior" the newest picture produced by deviantArt member "bloodyman88", was that he was one warrior I would not want to fight; for a truly fearsome sight he is. His glowing blue eyes visible through the front of his helmet suggest that not only is the warrior large, strong, fully armored and well armed, but that he also possess a power of the supernatural as well. And the flaming background suggests that he had just emerged from a world of the dammed. In my opinion the artist done an outstanding job with the composition of this work. The drawing is sharp and well defined, and his use of color and shading give the warrior a convincing degree of strength and depth. I really believe that if the artist continues to produce artwork of this quality, we will be hearing a great deal more from him for many years to come.

if this was done in Photoshop, then why is it in the corel painter groups gallery? O.o
The reason i ask is because I was wandering what brush you could have possibly used in painter to achieve that look
