Nero had skirted this question with a vague answer. He even provides information for her to return it. Earlier in the chapter he changed his mind upon his eyes going blue, similar to Pan's Semblance...meaning he must have saw something that changed his mind.
Noelle's Family
We only saw her mother on page 32 , so far. (If you saw my notes, I mentioned that she'd be based on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, so Belle is not her.)
Noelle's name is referencing a Christmas carol. Jingle Bell(e)s fits in there.
A Gold Card is like a black credit card with even more glitz and glamour behind it. We saw Noelle hold it earlier this episode as well as on page 48 to buy Ebonille's teddy bear.
I titled this page "the keepsake" for two reasons.

Cancer, the crab constellation.
It's inevitable I'd call the crab Grimm this, the medical reference was too apt. It's not a high-level Grimm, but unless you know where to stab they can gang up on you.
Wardrobe Change
Very slight update to Noelle's outfit to signify the minor timeskip, she now matches her appearance in the promo art .

LET'S GOOOOO! Home stretch with 3 more pages left. Also lowkey ignoring the fact that my summer research hasn't gone as planned but uhh... let's just keep that between us.

Obviously the last panel on this page was really what mattered/needed the most effort. I had planned to draw like a dozen crab Grimm behind her but anymore than two just made the scene feel crowded. Anyways, I'm pretty stoked for the next scene (not sure why, but maybe because we'll finally get get continuity around here) and wish I could cram in the start of Episode 7.
