It was only a week after Aaron's first goth outing with his sister and the two of them were together again, dressed up at the mall. Aaron had such fun on their first outing, he was now fully committed to the Inverted lifestyle that Chloe and Suzanne enjoyed. For their trip to the mall, Chloe had let Aaron borrow some of her clothes again, insisting that he would have to buy his own clothes if he wanted to keep this up.
The first stop on their trip was to get Aaron some shoes. He had managed to squeeze into Chloe's sneakers previously, as there was only a small difference in size, but they were uncomfortable after an hour. Chloe took Aaron to a store called Angel's Grace, which she frequented for her own clothes. They also had a great selection of gothic footwear so it seemed the obvious place to start.
Gazing at the wall display of shoes, Aaron was spoilt for choice. Chloe giggled at her speechless brother, watching his black lips pouting in thought, his dark eyes examining every possible option. Eventually, Aaron reached for a pair of knee high patent boots with a bulky platform sole. "Are you sure you want to go in the deep end?" Chloe asked, but Aaron nodded with enthusiasm. At least I'm not paying, Chloe thought as she asked for the boots in Aaron's size.
The assistant returned with a large box and handed the boots to the made up Aaron to try on. He slid the boots on and drew the zipper up over his nylon encased legs. He moved over to the mirror and Chloe was shocked at how good he looked. As the two of them admired the shiny boots, the store assistant reappeared and said how cute Aaron looked with his new footwear. She knew she had made a sale and took the boots over to the sales counter.
As Aaron and Chloe went to leave, the assistant stopped them and handed them a business card. "Listen, my manager is making a big deal of boosting the advertising for the store and is on the look out for people to model our clothes. Maybe you two would be interested? Just send an email to the address on the card with a couple of profile shots attached and we'll do the rest."
Chloe thanked the assistant and led ther gawping brother out the store. The two of them laughed about how convincing Aaron was as a goth girl and that he should go for the modelling gig as a joke. Aaron agreed, saying that there's no way he'd get it as there must be hundreds of pretty goth girls who are regulars. How wrong Aaron was...
