I was asked by PPMB member to draw some characters from the fan fic "Daria & Son," which you can read here: www.thepaperpusher.net/forum/v… (must be a member of PPMB to read)The third in this group is an older Elsie Sloane. She was described as dressing more middle class than upper class since she is now a school teacher. Her over all appearance hasn't changed much. My own additions to this were to lightly modify Elsie's face, in going with the old adage that women age into their mothers, by altering her eyes and mouth shape to resemble Mrs. Sloane's. I also designed the outfit, giving it a retro look with a bit of modern styles. Erin M. and I worked out the colours together, and kept the palette close to "old school" Elsie.
The requester, Erin M., was liked it. I rather like it myself, except maybe she's a bit TOO, erm, smexy for a teacher.
