So after all my traveling for the holidays and New Years, I finally got to see Sweeney Todd. I'm probably a bit biased on any Burton movie, but of course I loved it! I'm continuing with my new painting style experiment and did a portrait of Sweeney. Hope you like it...Happy New YearRelated content

sweeney todd is my very fave film (i'm pretty obsessed) not only is it the best tim burton movie, but the best movie EVER MADE
and the fact you (my favourite good charlotte member and ultimate fave rockstar) drew this (and it's awesome) is even more wow!!!

Nice style, it works well. I especially love the way you've done the white dash in his hair, and his tongue looks good too. Shiney shading ^^
I think you could have worked more on the top row of teeth though, the bottom ones look good, and they make the top ones look a bit rushed in my opinion. Good all round though

Then again, perhaps I'm biased too, considering Tim Burton is one of my idols.
But that aside, your technique is fantastic. I'm particularly impressed by the detailing in the hair. I'm doing some paint work myself, but hair is...not my forte. Which annoys me, because I can draw it.

Billy, I knew this was coming. I did a good Sweeney drawing (not anywhere near as good as this) I'll load it soon.
But yes, I think of you when I see Tim Burton films and I knew the Sweeney picture was coming.
Don't feel bad, I'm biased too. I have tons of friends who liked the musical better but because I love Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter, I'm very biased about it.
