Adam's Comments: Heheh.... Yeah, I love that because Ana and the Blues kids have powers that are just so different even the characters aren't sure if it would stack with the powers granted by the lock. Just a good little touch instead of shrugging and forgetting the rules of the universe.

I actually really appreciate Narcisco's reasoning for not wanting to touch the lock. Like, she remembers the fact that they're supposed to NOT want this to happen. Simple but very fun page. Always like it when Ana's demon side pops out to chat.

Martin's Comments: Yeah, this one was a pretty natural one to write and kind of the logical note to end on; the different characters who don't have powers and haven't touched a lock before offering their own perspectives on it, with Eva ultimately pointing out it's not something they should be dwelt on. Just feels appropriate for the personalities involved.

Also kind of like how it shakes out in contrast to the last page; none of the Blues kids this time around while they pretty much dominated the previous one, just kind of an appropriate divide I think.

Actually originally scripted this to have Ana wearing her glasses and taking them off when the Midnight Maiden came out, but think it works better not going that route since she's kind of more obviously equipped to go into battle. At least physically anyway given this is still Ana we're talking about here.
