I absolutely adore kitsunes. They are my favorite part of mythology. I love the tales and just everything about them. This is a kitsune of fire. Only 4 tails, hm. Not very old or powerful, but I wuv him to death, yes yes.Related content

why do nine tailed foxes in general get associated with fire so much?
League of legends gives Ahri (based on the Korean version of the nine tailed) a fox fire skin, and Pokemon of course has Vulpex as a fire type, why?

I... liked kitsune when I was 15. I'm 23 now. .-. But I guess it would have to do with fox fire. I don't really know, I just drew this when I was in something like 8th grade...

Why do people insist on adding an 's' at the ends of Japanese words to make them plural? There is no 's'

It's horrid habbits transferred from speaking only English and not studying Japanese hardly at all. ^_^() I tried learning it once, then got sidetracked with a Spanish class or 3. Someday I'm going to learn Japanese the right way. Ah well. Thanks for the comment!

Great picture. I especially like the flames drawn on the tails, it looks really cool, and it's not what you would expect. I really like foxes and kitsune, too, and this picture is a great example of one, from anatomy to the sheer feeling of it. Great work, keep it up!
