Thumbnail 9 and I still hate buildings so very much. all the reference images in the world couldn't help me so cast it into the tiltshift abyss of blurriness to focus on the birds.Little thumbnail of Griffin (when she was called Fairy and had her wings and natural hair colour), and buddy/full time pain in the ass Nicobar who was the second bird in the Seaside picture. It's a competition between him and the Merlo twins as to who has the biggest wingspan.

Anyway, very nicely done! I don't blame you for not drawing cities much, all those windows ughhhh. But this still looks great, just so you know.

It's not really massive spoilers but more rather backstory which basically comes down to a lady they were working for at the time took one look at how pretty and unique they were and decided that she wanted them, but rather than sit around and wait for them to be made specifically for her, she instead had them forcibly and unwillingly removed from Fairy and grafted onto herself, ignoring the fact that they were flesh and blood limbs and not simple accessories she could take on and off whenever. The lady ruined them pretty quickly, got toxic shock from the incompatibility and was hospitalised for a short while during which she met with some unforeseen circumstances and died. The wings were completely ruined and Fairy changed her name to Griffin quickly after.

How can you hate drawing something and yet DO IT SO PERFECTLY?? Those buildings look fantastic!!! There's so much detail, good gosh...
how do you make wings so good oh my GOSH. The poses and their positions are just PERFECT!! Makes me sad for Griffin/Fairy though, knowing she won't have wings in the future... ;-;
