Yo I totally think it's a female, too! Ever since I heard "Ukulele" I knew that was the character's name and it also sounds feminine. You may be accurate with Ukulele (Let's call him/her that ;3) but no one really knows who the other guy is!

Like JacktheCat said, surprisingly enough, a closer look at one of the screenshots shows a little peak at a character which could in fact be Banjo's successor. He/She has the same colour scheme and the blue eyes!

It sure seems that way yeah, though upon closer inspection of the image it looks like theres some details on Banjo's successor that wasn't possible to see in the first teaser image when brightened. Not to mention we can slightly see who Kazooie's is in between the flowers, but only barely.
Perhaps I'll do another prediction piece soon, now that we have a little more info on the game. /: )

Notice none the silhouettes don't seem to match what's in the teaser image.
So either the silhouettes are not main characters and are just other characters that you will meet in the game or some if not all of them are the bad guys.

When I saw the teaser pic, I thought Kazooie's successor's eyes looked ugly with tiny pupils. But if she/he has a design that goes well with the eyes, then I can accept it.
I'd totally be down with Banjo's successor being female and Kazooie's successor being male like you did here.
